The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has recently announced the daily minimum wage increase for private-sector workers in Region 4B.
The increase covers the Provinces of Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan, otherwise known as MIMAROPA, including the City of Calapan and the Highly Urbanized City of Puerto Princesa.
The increase will be effective from December 23, 2024 and will be a P35 daily increase in their wages.

New Minimum Wage Rates
Wage Order No. RB-MIMAROPA-12 provides a ₱35 increase in the daily minimum wage for Region IV-B (MIMAROPA).
Starting December 23, 2024, the new minimum wage rates will be ₱430.00 for establishments with 10 or more workers and ₱404.00 for those with fewer than 10 workers.

Previous Minimum Wage Rate
𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝗥𝗕-𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗔-𝟭𝟭 grants a P40 increase in the daily minimum wage in Region-IVB (MIMAROPA Region). Effective December 7, the minimum wage rates will be set at P395 for establishments with 10 workers and above and P369 for establishments with less than 10 workers.

Meanwhile, 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝗥𝗕-𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗔-𝗗𝗪-𝟬𝟰 provides a monthly increase of P1,000 for Domestic workers or 𝘒𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘴 in Region-IVB (MIMAROPA), bringing the monthly minimum wage rate of domestic workers in the region from P4,500 to P5,500 effective December 7, 2023.
