Region II – Cagayan Valley minimum wage 2026: current rates
Updated October 10, 2026: The current daily private-sector minimum wage is ₱500 under Wage Order RTWPB 2-24, effective November 5, 2025. Rates may vary by sector, establishment size or area classification; see the official regional wage matrix for the applicable rate.
Domestic workers: The minimum monthly wage is ₱6,500 under Wage Order 02-DW-07. This is a monthly rate, separate from the private-sector daily minimum wage.

2026 update: As of October 2026, the current minimum wage in Region II (Cagayan Valley) is ₱500 per day for both non-agriculture and agriculture workers covered by Wage Order No. RTWPB 2-24. The minimum monthly wage for kasambahays is ₱6,500 under Wage Order No. 02-DW-07.
Important: RTWPB-II has begun its 2026 minimum wage determination process and conducted public hearings in September 2026. As of this update, the official NWPC Region II page still lists Wage Order No. RTWPB 2-24 and the ₱500 daily rate as the current minimum wage. This page will be updated when a new wage order is officially issued.

Wage Order No. RTWPB 2-24 took effect on November 5, 2025. It raised the non-agriculture minimum wage from ₱480 to ₱500 and the agriculture minimum wage from ₱460 to ₱500.

Is There a New Region 2 Minimum Wage for 2026?
As of October 2026, no new 2026 wage rate is yet listed on the official NWPC Region II wage page. The current rate remains ₱500 per day.
However, RTWPB-II has already started the 2026 wage determination process. The Board held its first public hearing on September 21, 2026 in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, followed by hearings scheduled in Quirino, Isabela and Cagayan, with participation for Batanes stakeholders. These hearings allow workers, employers, domestic workers and other stakeholders to present their views before the Board determines whether another wage adjustment should be issued.

Areas Covered by the Region 2 Minimum Wage
The Region II wage order covers Cagayan Valley, including the provinces of:
- Batanes
- Cagayan
- Isabela
- Nueva Vizcaya
- Quirino
It also covers cities in the region including Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Santiago and Ilagan, as specified by NWPC.
Region 2 Kasambahay Minimum Wage 2026
The current minimum wage for domestic workers or kasambahays in Region II is ₱6,500 per month under Wage Order No. 02-DW-07, effective November 5, 2025.

Previous Region 2 Minimum Wage Rates
2024 Rate – Wage Order RTWPB 2-23
Effective October 17, 2024, Wage Order No. RTWPB 2-23 increased the daily minimum wage by ₱30. The rates became ₱480 for non-agriculture and ₱460 for agriculture.
2023–2024 Rate – Wage Order RTWPB 2-22
Wage Order No. RTWPB 2-22 provided a ₱30 increase in two ₱15 tranches. After full implementation, the rates reached ₱450 for non-agriculture and ₱430 for agriculture.
Keeping these historical rates can be useful when checking older payroll records, but they are not the current Region II minimum wage.
