25,000 Jobs in the Japan-Philippines Job Fair on August 1

Approximately 25,000 approved job openings are available for Filipino job seekers at a special job fair organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Embassy of Japan in honor of the Philippines and Japan Friendship Week.

The job fair, titled “Konnichiwa Pilipinas! Kumusta, Japan!” will take place on August 1, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the 3rd floor of Robinsons Galleria Ortigas in Quezon City.

Fifteen licensed recruitment agencies are anticipated to participate, offering positions in various sectors including construction, medical and healthcare, hospitality, customer service, and more.

The DMW and the Embassy of Japan aim to create a platform for Filipino job seekers to connect with legitimate recruiters and to provide insights on gender dynamics and potential risks related to overseas labor migration through brief informational sessions focused on Japanese work culture.
