UPCAT or the University of the Philippines College Admission Test is a means for senior high school students to enter the Baccalaureate programs of UP. It is conducted yearly especially for those deserving students who wish to enroll in its eight constituent universities and one autonomous college located in 21 campuses throughout the country.
However, for the AY 2021-2022, the University of the Philippines decided to not administer the Admission Test but instead open their portal to students who aspire to study in UP because of health and logical issues brought about by the pandemic.
UP Application for AY 2021-2022 started last January 2021. A lot of students dream of being a part of the University of the Philippines since it is one of the most prestigious schools in the country. It is also considered one of the most influential institutions in the Philippines.
