Minimum Wage Increase Region 13
Under Wage Order No. RXIII-19, the RTWPB has approved an increase of P50 in the Region XIII (Caraga Region) minimum wage.
This increase will be implemented in two equal tranches, with the first tranche of P30 set to take effect on January 2, 2025, and the second tranche of P20 scheduled for May 1, 2025.
After the full implementation of both tranches, the minimum wage rates across all sectors in Region XIII will be P435.

Under Wage Order No. RXIII-18, the RTWPB has approved an increase of P35 in the Region XIII (Caraga Region) minimum wage.
This increase will be implemented in two equal tranches, with the first tranche of P20 set to take effect on January 1, 2024, and the second tranche of P15 scheduled for May 1, 2024.
After the full implementation of both tranches, the minimum wage rates across all sectors in Region XIII will be P385.
This wage order reflects the RTWPB’s commitment to regularly reviewing and adjusting minimum wage rates to ensure they remain fair and responsive to the economic needs of the region.
The phased implementation allows for a smoother transition for both employers and employees, providing time to adjust to the new wage structure.

In addition to the general wage increase, the RTWPB has also addressed the concerns of domestic workers, known as kasambahay, through Wage Order No. RXIII-DW-04.
This order grants a monthly increase of P1,000 for domestic workers in Region XIII, bringing their monthly minimum wage rate from P4,000 to P5,000.
This adjustment aims to uplift the living standards of domestic workers and acknowledges the valuable contribution they make to households and the overall economy.
The implementation of this wage order for domestic workers is set to take effect on January 1, 2024. The P1,000 increase is a significant step towards recognizing the essential role of domestic workers and ensuring their compensation aligns with the economic realities of the region.
