What SALN means?
SALN stands for Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth. Your assets include land, vehicles,etc while liabilities include loans, debts, as well as your business and financial interest, your spouse and unmarried children under 18 years old living with you.
Who needs to file for SALN?
All public officials and employees, regular or under temporary status holding a career position are needed to file a SALN.
Who are exempted to file a SALN?
Those who serve in an honorary capacity, laborers and casual or temporary workers are exempted to file a SALN.
SALN deadline of filing
The SALN must be filed within 30 days after assumption of office on or before April 30, of every year thereafter and within 30 days after separation from the service.
