How to check the availability of your LTO plate?

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) releases a guide on how to check the availability of your plate since they have been receiving a lot of queries and questions with regards to this topic such as “Nandyan na ba ang Plaka ko?.”

How to check the availability of your LTO plate?

You can check the availability of your plate number in two easy ways:

This is applicable for Motor Vehicle Owners whose registration is being processed by their dealers.

1.Coordinate with your dealers.

Accordingly, to get an update with the status of your MV plates, you can coordinate directly with your dealers.

2. Check the LTO portal site with this link https://www.lto.net.ph/

Upon clicking the link, you will then be redirected to the LTO portal website. Just below the homepage, you will find LTO Online Services which includes the option Motor Vehicle 7 Character Plate Backlog inquiry.

Enter your 15 digit MV file number ย (e.g. 130100000000001) from your OR/CR and click search. The system will instantly show a message that indicates the status of your plate number.

For unavailability, go back to the first step and coordinate with your dealers.

For concerns and queries, you can email the LTO at [email protected]
