AFP Cyber Group Special Enlistment now accepting applicants

Have you heard about the AFP Cyber Group? Well, there are not many details about it yet, but the AFP CRS posted a poster that the Armed Forces of the Philippines is looking for applicants to be a part of the Cyber Group. Look at the poster below.

According to some other source, Cyber group will be the fourth branch of the AFP. It is separate to army, navy, and Airforce. Since criminals are continously evolving and using increasingly sophisticated and complex attack techniques. It’s time to counterattack them with the skilled people in IT to work in the AFP.

If you want to serve the country then share your IT skills and try applying for the position.

Who can apply?

To be qualified you need to be a natural-born Filipino. Graduate of a 4 year or 2 years IT Course Programming skills. Ages from 18 until 35 years old only, and with good moral character. Must also be physically fit.

They also prefer those that have an educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Furthermore, you should pass the AFPSAT first. The Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test or also known as AFPSAT is a unified written examination which is a pre-entry requirement for Army, Air Force, and Navy (Marines) aspirants.

Remember that they will test your skills. Since this is a special enlistment you need to showcase your skills.

In addition, you have to work before training. The duration of training is from three to six months.

A Base Pay salary of PHP 29,668 monthly for successful candidates.
