The UP Department of English and Comparative Literature offers intensive English classes for Filipinos through its 30-hour Intensive English Program (IEP).
The program will be online over five Saturdays, starting October 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
IEP topics include:
- Grammar review
- Gender-fair writing
- Writing effective sentences and paragraphs
- Conducting basic research
- Evaluating and writing proposals
- Writing letters and memos
- Evaluating and writing reports

The course fee is P4,900.00, payable through Land Bank of the Philippines. Students who complete at least 24 hours of training will receive a certificate of attendance.
