TESDA recently launches its new website and app called 911TESDA. This will give more job opportunities for all NC Holders. At the same time, it will be convenient for people looking for services.
National Certificate holders can apply to 76 job titles that match 75 qualification courses offered by the agency to fill up the 11,000-certified worker projected demand of the partner digital/online service platforms this year.
What is 911tesda?
It is a free web-based linking program. It aims to provide employment opportunities for certified graduates of technical vocational education and training (TVET).
Furthermore, it strives to deliver skill service needs of individuals, household, and enterprises.
How 911TESDA works?
It works like a grab taxi. You can either download an application in google play or go directly to their website http://www.911tesda.ph/.
When you are on the website, you will be asked to choose whether you want some services or you are an NC holder looking for work.
If you are looking for services you can just choose from the lists shown and then type your address. Some services include aircon cleaning, carpentry, housekeeping, massage therapy, and plumbing. The platform will then match the customers with the service provider near them.
You will feel assured as the people are trained by TESDA and have gone screening.
On the other hand, if you are an NC holder looking for work you can register as a worker to the application.
“There are TESDA graduates that are at the end of contract, nahihinto ang kanilang service, ito ang target workers natin. Kahit na ‘yung mga employed na, for additional income, pwede silang mag-sideline,”
Lapeña said.
What areas the application is available?
As of the moment, it is only available in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Palayan City in Nueva Ecija, Batangas, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna.
But TESDA is looking to expand its services to more areas like Davao City, General Santos City, Koronadal City, Tagum City, and Cebu City.
