It is a great honor to be a part of the military and uniformed personnel in the Philippines. But at the same time, it takes a lot of courage and patience since their work includes risking their own lives just to serve our country. With that said, it is important to give them a good pay in which they deserve.
President Rodrigo Duterte signed a joint resolution of Congress on January 1, 2018, authorizing the pay increase in the military, police and uniformed personnel.
The Modified Base pay schedule is divided into two tranches in which the first tranch was implemented on January 1, 2018. While the second tranche started on January 1, 2019.
It shall apply to all military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines under the DND, and the uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police, Philippine Public Safety College, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology under the DILG, Bureau of Corrections under the DOJ, Philippine Coast Guard under the DOTr, and the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority under the DENR.
Modified Base Pay Schedule starting January 1, 2019

The Hazard Pay for all MUP shall be fixed at P540 per month.
