Civil Service Commission announces the opening of registration and examination schedule for Civil Service (Comex). The schedule is for 2nd Semester 2019 at CSC Regional Offices.

How to apply for COMEX Exam?

1. Go to the Comex Website
First, if you still don’t have an account, go to Comex Website to create your account.

It will take you to the sign-up and login page of the Comex website as shown in the above photo.
2. Sign up for an account
Click the orange color button which says “Sign up Now“.

3. Fill out the Online Registration form
Fill up the Registration form with your complete details. The items mark with asterisk * means it is required to be filled out.
The information that you need to fill up includes:
Account Information – which includes username, password, email address and date of birth. It is absolutely important to have an active email address because they will send the confirmation message there.
Personal Information– in here it requires your name, birthplace, your mother’s name, demographic data and contact numbers.
Educational attainment – You just need to enter the date of your graduation and check the box if you graduated or not in elementary, high school, college, etc.
Employment Information – your present job details if any. It includes the name of the agency where you are working, the address, your position, etc. If it is not applicable to you just tick the no box and then proceed to the next questionnaire.
Eligibility Information– In here you need to choose whether you have acquired eligibility or not. If you still do not have eligibility you can tick the box that says not applicable. There are instances where you do not need to take an exam if you are included in these categories.
Other information– You only need to answer “Yes or No” on certain questions and you need to state the reason why you want to take the exam.
4. Submit the form
At this time, a form will be shown to you with your details. Check if the information is correct and if there are any mistakes, you can click the edit button. Click Submit Form if all the details are accurate. Check the terms and Conditions after reading it and click Submit.
5. Check your email address for the confirmation message.
You will then receive a message confirming your registration.
Note: The system confirmation e-mail may be found in the SPAM folder.
6. Activate your Comex Account
Click the activation link that you received from the system. You will then be redirected to the COMEX website which means that you successfully activated your account.
You now then successfully register in COMEX.
7. Login using your username and password
Since you are redirected to the COMEX website after the registration, you will need to click the login button now. Then, type the username and password that you created.
8. Click the “Examination Schedule Tab”
Finally, reserve a slot of your preferred date of examination. See the list of Schedule for the 2nd Semester 2019 at CSC Regional Offices here.
The number of examination slots available for online reservation is very limited. Slots may be taken and filled up in a matter of minutes.
If you reserve a slot and later decide not to pursue taking the test the CSC advise you to cancel your reservation online in order for others to be able to take the slot.
Important Reminders
Regularly check your CSC COMEX accounts for latest announcements, developments, and updates. Schedules may be changed without prior notice hence you need to always be updated of new announcements.
You must NOT have taken the same level of CSE being applied for, either through the Pen and Paper Test (PPT) mode or the Computerized Examination (COMEX) mode, within three (3) months before the date of examination.
Requirements
No requirements are necessary for Online registration. You just need to have an active email address and the internet. But on the day of the exam you need to bring the following:
1.Original and Photocopy of any of the following I.D
a. Driver’s License/Temporary Driver’s License (LTO O.R. must be presented together with old Driver’s License; O.R. alone is not allowed)/Student Driver’s Permit;
b. Passport;
c. PRC License;
d. SSS I.D.;
e. GSIS I.D. (UMID);
f. Voter’s I.D./Voter’s Certification;
g. BIR/Taxpayer’s I.D. (ATM type/TIN card type with picture);
h. PhilHealth I.D. (must have the bearer’s name, clear picture, signature and PhilHealth number);
i. Company/Office I.D.;
j. School I.D.;
k. Police Clearance/Police Clearance Certificate;
l. Postal I.D.;
m. Barangay I.D.;
n. NBI Clearance;
o. Seaman’s Book;
p. HDMF Transaction I.D.;
q. PWD I.D.;
r. Solo Parent I.D.;
s. Senior Citizen’s I.D.; and
t. CSC Eligibility Card (note: Implemented only beginning with the May 3, 2015 CSE-PPT).
2. Comex Fee
An examination fee of P600 and a digital fee of P80 will be collected on you. You need to bring A total of P680 with you.
When will you know the result?
The test result will be available within one (1) week after the examination. It will be released officially through the posting of the list of passers in the CSC website.
Issuance of Certification in lieu of the Eligibility Card to passers shall also be available within one week after the examination.
