Based on the previous DepEd school calendar, the original end of classes is June 11, 2021, for elementary and high school students but the Department of Education extends it until July 10, 2021, to all public schools nationwide.
The supposed summer break for all the students is definitely been strikeout because of the covid19 pandemic. We all know that right after we have been hit by the pandemic, the school year had been adjusted to see to it that the health of the students is the first priority, and this is also according to the President. He said that he will not compromise the health of young people just to have face-to-face classes.

Others say that the students had enough break last year because of the covid19 pandemic because they cannot go out until the threat of virus infection had been lowered and they are safe to go outside. The Department of Education then had to do something to continue the process of learning, and then the Module Learning came to fruition. This was the first time such academic learning processes had been introduced to students and there have been mixed reactions not only for teachers but also for parents.
It was a difficult task not only for students but especially for parents who will be the ones to teach their sons and daughters about the Modules of each subject. This is true in terms of parents who are working and there is no enough time to teach their children with their assignments. So the student will do it himself/herself or with the help of their relatives. It is not easy but we all have to adjust and that we all have to make sacrifices not to stop the learning process. Plus impact of the pandemic and quarantines on people is not a joke especially when we talk about mental health.
