Salary Grade 2027 in the Philippines is the fourth and final tranche of the updated salary schedule under Executive Order No. 64, s. 2024. For covered civilian personnel in National Government Agencies, the fourth tranche is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2027.
Under the 2027 schedule, Salary Grade 1 starts at ₱15,208 per month, while Salary Grade 33 starts at ₱459,469. A Teacher I at SG 11 will start at ₱33,387. These figures are monthly basic salaries before deductions and do not include allowances and bonuses.

When Does the 2027 Salary Increase Start?
Executive Order No. 64 provides four tranches for National Government Agencies: January 1, 2024; January 1, 2025; January 1, 2026; and the fourth and final tranche beginning January 1, 2027. The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) is expected to issue the detailed implementing circular for the fourth tranche closer to implementation. This article will be updated when that circular is released.

Teacher Salary 2027
Public school teachers covered by the civilian salary schedule also benefit from the fourth tranche. For example, Teacher I (SG 11) increases from ₱31,705 in 2026 to ₱33,387 per month at Step 1 in 2027. DBM has also highlighted the fourth-tranche salary adjustment as part of the higher compensation for teachers in the proposed FY 2027 budget.
Who Is Covered?
EO No. 64 covers civilian government personnel in the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches, Constitutional Commissions and other Constitutional Offices, State Universities and Colleges, and covered GOCCs. LGU implementation is subject to the rules in EO No. 64, including financial capability and local authorization.
Job Order and Contract of Service workers and other individuals engaged without an employer-employee relationship are not covered by this civilian salary schedule. Military and uniformed personnel follow a separate base-pay schedule.
