The Pharmacist Licensure Examination (PhLE) is the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) board exam that Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy graduates must pass to practice as pharmacists in the Philippines. October 2026 PhLE — results released
Status: PRC released the October 2026 Pharmacists Licensure Examination results on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, its target date. 3,830 out of 4,944 examinees (77.47%) passed the exam held on October 15–16, 2026; the results of 10 examinees were withheld. Melanie Anne Leyson Tabornal of the University of San Carlos placed first with a rating of 95.97%. Online registration for new pharmacists starts on November 24, 2026, and the oath-taking date is still to be announced by PRC. 2026 Pharmacist board exam schedule
Under PRC Commission Resolution No. 2113 (s. 2025), the 2026 schedule of licensure examinations set two PhLE seasons:

Next PhLE (2027): to be announced. As of October 26, 2026, PRC has not yet published its 2027 schedule of licensure examinations. PRC released the 2026 schedule in November 2025, and the PhLE has usually been held twice a year, but wait for the official PRC resolution before planning around any date. We will update this guide with the 2027 exam dates and filing deadlines once PRC posts them.
Testing centers and room assignments
For October 2026, PRC’s schedule and room-assignment page list testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. Who can take the PhLE (qualifications)
Under Section 14 of the Philippine Pharmacy Act (R.A. No. 10918), an applicant must:
- be a citizen of the Philippines, or a citizen of a country that grants Filipino pharmacists the same right (reciprocity);
- be of good moral character and reputation; and
- hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or its equivalent from a CHED-recognized institution, and have completed the Board-approved internship program.
Documentary requirements
Typical documents for first-time and repeating applicants (confirm the live checklist in LERIS before your appointment):
- PSA Birth Certificate
- PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants filing under a married name)
- Certified true copy of the Transcript of Records in B.S. Pharmacy or equivalent, with scanned picture and the remark “For Board Examination Purposes”
- Certificate of completion of the internship program, duly signed by the dean or program head
- One Certificate of Good Moral Character from the barangay, church, School of Pharmacy, or employer
- Valid NBI Clearance (first-timers and repeaters)
- After three failures: Certificate of completion of a refresher program, duly signed by the dean or program head
- Application fee: ₱900 (complete), or the amount shown in your LERIS payment screen
How to apply through PRC LERIS
- Go to PRC LERIS (online.prc.gov.ph) and create an account, or log in.
- Upload a recent ID photo that meets PRC photo guidelines.
- Choose Examination, then select the Pharmacists Licensure Examination, exam date, and testing center.
- Book an appointment at a PRC office or service center.
- Pay the fee through a LERIS payment channel.
- Print your application form and bring original and photocopied documents to your appointment.
- Receive your Notice of Admission (NOA) and bring it on exam day.
- Check room assignments and the official exam program a few days before the exam.

Report to your assigned school or building before 6:30 a.m. on the first day. Bring your NOA, pencils (No. 2), black-ink ballpen, long brown envelope, long transparent/plastic envelope, and mailing envelope. Only non-programmable calculators on PRC’s allowed list may be used. Mobile phones, smart devices, programmable calculators, and unauthorized materials are prohibited.
Results, registration, and oathtaking
The October 2026 PhLE results came out on October 21, 2026: 3,830 of 4,944 examinees passed (77.47%), up from 1,085 of 1,895 (57.26%) in April 2026. Successful examinees register online through PRC LERIS starting November 24, 2026; bring a screenshot of the system-generated registration form and a valid government-issued ID, and personally sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
