MASTER PLUMBER EXAM SCHEDULE, REQUIREMENTS, AND COVERAGE

Master Plumber Board Exam Schedule 2024
The PRC announces the Schedule of Board Exams this 2024 including the Master Plumber Exam. The first batch will be conducted on February 15 & 16, 2024 in different testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales and Tacloban. The results are expected to be released 2 days after the exam.
The second batch will be on July 13 & 14, 2024 at different testing centers nationwide. The start of the application will be on March 22, 2024, until May 31, 2024. To see the complete details, refer to the table below.

Master Plumber Requirements
To be able to take the Board Exam, you must be a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in the following:
- BS in Architect, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mining Engineering (Transcript of Records with Special Order (S.O.)
For other non-degree holders, they can still take the exam as long as they comply with the requirements:
- High School Diploma / Transcript of Records
- Notarized Certificate of Experience for five (5) years signed by Registered
- Master Plumber whose date of registration is prior to the date of employment
- Certificate of Employment or service record
Additional Requirements:
- NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
- NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
- Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
- Payment: P600.00
*BSEE GRADUATES – with five (5) years experience – FTB
Master Plumber Exam Coverage
The following Subjects/Topic included in the exam:
- Plumbing Arithmetic (10%)
- Sanitation, Plumbing Design, and Installation (40%)
- Plumbing Code (10%)
- Practical Problems (40%)
Are Calculators Allowed?
You can bring the following type of Calculator to the exam:
- Calculators with the following features only – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, trigonometric function, logarithm, and xy
NOT ALLOWED: Calculators that are programmable or with embedded functions especially
CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus.
