Medical Doctors shall be appointed to the rank of POLICE CAPTAIN (Salary Grade 23) while Dentists, Optometrists, Psychologists, Medical Technologists, Radiologic Technologists, and Nutritionist-Dietitians shall be appointed to the rank of POLICE LIEUTENANT (Salary Grade 22).
PROVIDED, that an applicant MUST possess appropriate eligibility for the rank.

For In-Service Applicants (Age: Not more than 46 years old at the time of appointment. Age waiver shall not be allowed). For Civilian Applicants (Age: Not be less than 21 or more than 30 years of age; Age waiver may be granted provided, the applicant shall not be less than 20 or over 35 years old)
Note: NAPOLCOM En Banc may only grant waivers when the number of qualified applicants falls BELOW the quota of the Recruiting Unit.
