DSWD Region 10 needs hundreds of encoders and verifiers

DSWD Region 10 announces the vacant position/s of the National Household Targeting System (NHTS) with the following minimum qualification standards:

(232) ENCODER

Working closely with the Regional IT Officer for data consistency, he/she shall perform the following:

• Encode HAF data into the software program;

• Inform Enumerators about problems or difficulties in encoding due to inconsistent and missing data;

• Ensure proper use and safekeeping of project documents, materials, equipment, and other supplies; and prevent loss of data;

• Maintain the confidentiality of documents and information generated by the NHTS-PR; and

• Encode a maximum of 100 Household Assessment Forms (HAFs) per day.

Qualifications:

• Completion of two (2) years studies in college or its equivalent
• Preferably with experience in the conduct of household assessment or similar projects/activities or related tasks
• Must be a resident of the province where s/he will be assigned to
• A team player
• Must have the initiative to learn and contribute to the success of the Program; and
• Has an Above-average encoding speed

(232) VERIFIER

Working closely with the Encoder, he/she shall perform the following:

• Verify the completeness and consistency of 240 household records per day against the corresponding HAFs;

• Report to the IT officer or the officer in charge of the encoding findings pertaining to inconsistent and missing data;

• Ensure the proper use and safekeeping of project documents, material, equipment, and other supplies; and prevent loss of data; and

• Maintain the confidentiality of documents and information generated by the NHTS-PR.

Qualifications:

• Completion of two (2) years studies in college or its equivalent
• Must be a resident of the city/municipality where s/he will be assigned to
• A team player
• Must have the initiative to learn and contribute to the success of the Program; and
• Has an Above-average encoding speed

1. Application letter;
2. Comprehensive resume with 2×2 ID picture; and
3. Copy of duly signed Individual Performance Contract Rating (IPCR) with at least Very Satisfactory during the last two (2) rating periods for internal applicants, or its equivalent for external applicants in order to qualify.
