Returning Overseas Filipinos (non OFWs) cannot enter Philippines by March 20

The Government issues another travel restriction due to a surge of covid 19 cases in the Philippines. It has now limited the number of passenger arrivals per day to 1,500 starting March 18, 2021, at 8:00 AM up to April 19, 2021.

Update: March 19, 2021: The Philippines revises travel rules and allow entry of all Filipinos whether a returning Overseas Filipinos or Overseas Filipino Workers shall be allowed to return to the Philippines.

Aside from this, there is also a suspension of entry for Foreign Nationals and Returning Overseas Filipinos who are non-OFWs beginning 12:01 AM of March 20 up to April 19, 2021.

Because of the said restrictions some flights have been cancelled. Check with your Airline for more details.

Who can enter the Philippines from March 20 to April 19?

For the March 20 up to April 19 period, only the following types of travelers are allowed to enter the Philippines:

  • Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)
  • Holders of 9(e) visas
  • Passengers on medical repatriation and their escort/s duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs
  • Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration
  • Distressed Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) duly endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs
  • Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs
  • Emergency, humanitarian and other cases approved by the National Task Force on Covid-19

Pwede poba akong mag aaply ng government scholarship para sa incoming college ko po..mahirap lng po kmi at mayroon po akong anak kasi grade 11 po ako nabuntis at kahit na may anak napo ako gusto ko po talagang makatapos ng pag aaral upang mabigyan ng magandang kinabukasan yong anak ko at upang matulungan din yong family ko na maiahon sila sa hirap kasi magsasaka lng po yong tatay ko..kaya sising sisi po noon ako kong bakit ako nabuntis ng maaga na hindi man lng nakatapos ng pag aaral at natulungan ang pamilya ko.kay gustong gusto ko po mag apply ng scholarship upang di nagumastos yong mga magulang ko dahil pangarap ko po talaga maging nursing at guro po kaya sana po mabigyan nyo ako ng pagkakataon na makasali at makuha sa scholarship na ito..thank you po
