Pasig lies approximately on the southeastern end of the Pasig River. On the north, it is bordered by Quezon City and Marikina, on the east, the municipalities of Cainta and Taytay, the city of Mandaluyong, on the west, and on the south, the municipalities of Taguig and Pateros, as well as the city of Makati. It is one of the oldest towns in the Philippines.
