MedTech Board Exam Schedule 2024 and Subjects

To become a licensed Medical Technologist in the Philippines, you should pass the Medical Technologist Licensure Exam given by the Professional Regulation Commission which is usually held twice a year.

All applicants who wish to take the MedTech licensing exam must have completed either a BS in Medical Technology or a BS in Public Health at an institution of higher education with accreditation.

Medical Technology Licensure Exam Schedule

PRC issued the schedule of exams for 2024 including the Medical Technologist Board Exam. The First Batch is set on March 21 & 22, 2024 in different testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The start of application is on December 21, 2023, until February 21, 2024.

The Second Batch is on August 06 & 07, 2024. The start of application is on May 12, 2023, until July 13, 2023.

Medical Technologist Licensure Board Exam Requirements

Here are the needed Medtech requirements you have to prepare when filing your application:

  • PSA/NSO Birth Certificate
  • PSA/NSO Marriage Contract (only for married female applicants)
  • Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
  • Examination fee: Php 900.00

Please take note that the applicants must apply for a REFRESHER course certification from a medical technology school approved or certified by CHED-FTB after three failed tests.

How to apply for the MTLE Board Exam?

The application will be done online at PRC LERIS. Go to https://online2.prc.gov.ph/ to apply. You may want to see our guide on how to register on PRC LERIS.

Applicants are also advised to pay through Landbank (i-access), PayMaya, or UCPB(over the counter). After your application, you can go to the PRC office to submit all the requirements needed.
