ME Licensure Exam Schedule 2024

The PRC announces the Board Exam Schedule for 2024.

For Mechanical Engineering, it is set on February 20, 21 & 22, 2024 in different testing centers nationwide. While the second batch is due on August 16, 17 & 18, 2024. Refer to the table below for complete details.

Mechanical Engineering Board Exam Requirements

The first qualification is to be a graduate with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING to take the exam. Next are the needed requirements and the payment:

  • NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
  • NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
  • Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”
  • Valid NBI Clearance (First Timers & Repeaters)

Payment:

  • P900.00 *After three (3) failures, REST one (1) year

Mechanical Engineering Board Exam Coverage

The exam is composed of the following subjects/topics:

  • INDUSTRIAL AND POWER PLANT ENGINEERING
  • MATHEMATICS, ENGINEERING ECONOMICS, AND BASIC ENGINEERING SERVICES
  • MACHINE DESIGN, MATERIALS, AND SHOP PRACTICE

ONLY ONE (1) NON-PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATOR SHALL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE EXAMINATION ROOM. CALCULATORS SHALL BE INSPECTED

How to apply for the Mechanical Engineering Board Exam?

The application will be done online at PRC LERIS. Go to https://online2.prc.gov.ph/ to apply. You may want to see our guide on how to register on PRC LERIS. Applicants are also advised to pay through Landbank (i-access), PayMaya, or UCPB(over the counter). After your application, you can go to the PRC office to submit all the requirements needed.
