The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) issues the list of names included in its Educational Subsidy Program (GESP). A total of 5,025 students out of 5,427 nominees will receive an amount of P10,000 per year to augment their educational fund. Priorities are given to the members with the lowest annual basic salary.
They will continue to receive the subsidy until they finish their college course provided they meet the 80% general weighted average with no failing grade or incomplete mark in any subject in the previous semester or term of the academic year.
The allowance will be given through the LandBank account of the grantees.
