The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has invited interested doctors and multidisciplinary professionals to participate in Island CAREvan, an initiative intended to bring assessment, intervention and support to children with disabilities in island communities.

DSWD’s October 13 announcement mentions developmental pediatricians, child psychiatrists, physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, clinical psychologists and other professionals with relevant expertise.
What will they do?
