DepEd new School Calendar SY 2020-2021 begins Oct.5 ends on June 11, 2021

The Department of Education (DepEd) issues a new school calendar of activities for the School Year 2020-2021. For this year, the school calendar begins on October 5, 2020, and ends on June 11, 2021.

DepEd Order No. 30 s. 2020

DepEd Order No.30 s. 2020 amends the provisions of DepEd Order No. 007 s. 2020.

• The opening of classes will begin on October 05, 2020, and the school year will end on June 5, 2020.
• The total class days in the 2020-2021 school calendar will be 205 days.
• The learning intervention for Alternative Learning System (ALS) shall formally open on October 05, 2020.
• Remedial, advancement, and enrichment classes during summer shall begin on Monday, June 14, 2021, and end on Friday, July 23, 2021.
• The first academic quarter starts on October 05, 2020, and ends on November 28, 2020. While the second quarter shall be from December 1, 2020, to February 06, 2021. The third quarter shall be from February 15, 2021, to April 10, 2021, and the fourth quarter shall be from April 12, 2021, to June 05, 2021.
