You will be locked out of your SSS account if you input your user ID or password wrong five consecutive times. You could have forgotten it or mistyped it but whatever the reason was, there is no need to panic. SSS locks your account for your own security. Recovering your account is easy, just follow the instructions below.

How to Unlock your SSS Account?
1. Visit the SSS website.
Go to the My.SSS website by clicking this link. Click the “Member” under Portals.
2. After which, Select the Lock Key on the left side.
Click the Lock Key which says that “Forget User ID or Password”.
3. Select one from the two options
There are two ways to retrieve your account. You must choose either through your registered address or through Security Questions.
Through your registered address:
Input your CRN/SS Number, Copy the Captcha, and then click Submit. There will be a notification that says that they will send a link to your email to reset your password.
You will receive the notification in your email for 2 to 3 minutes, and if no message in your inbox, you should also check your spam folder.
Click the “Click here” button in the email where you can reset your password and you will be redirected to that page.
Enter your new password. Remember to follow the instructions for the required password. After confirming your preferred password. Click ‘Submit”.
You will then be redirected to the My.SSS Member Account. Memorize or write your password somewhere safe so next time you will not be able to forget it anymore.
Through Security Questions:
Note: If you have not yet provided your Security Questions and Answers, your My.SSS account will automatically prompt you to set up your Security Questions and Answers upon log-in.
Enter your CRN/SS number and then click the search button.
Input your answers to the security questions you provided when you make your account. Tick the “I’m not a robot” box, then click submit.
An email will be sent by SSS to your email address. Click the “Click Here” button to reset your password.
You will then be redirected to the page to change your password.
Enter your user id, input your new preferred password, and enter it again in the next box to confirm it. Click the Submit button
You have successfully unlocked your SSS account and are redirected to the member account portal.
