How to apply?

The application for PSA job vacancies is now online. First, you need to register an account on their portal by visiting this link: https://hris.psa.gov.ph/RegisterApplicant. Then, you must complete your online profile with full details on the Personal Data Sheet Information for your application to be considered.

After you register to the portal, you can now apply online at this link https://hris.psa.gov.ph/CareerPortal. To check complete details of the vacant positions like the qualifications, training, eligibility, deadline of application, and other details, type in the search box the position you are interested to apply for and click the search icon. Afterward, click on the Job name and the details will be shown on your screen.

Requirements

Applicants are required to submit the following:

  1. Scanned copy of signed APPLICATION LETTER stating the specific position title with salary grade (SG) level and the specific place of assignment as posted; The application letter must be addressed to:

  1. Scanned copy of duly accomplished PERSONAL DATA SHEET (PDS) with recent ID picture taken within three (3) months prior to submission of the application (CSC Form No. 212, Revised 2017) duly subscribed and sworn to before an authorized administering officer;
     
  2. Scanned copy of signed WORK EXPERIENCE SHEET (CSC Form No. 212 – as Attachment to PDS);
     
  3. Scanned copy of AUTHENTICATED ELIGIBILITY (CSC, CESB, RA 1080, PD 907, etc.);
     
  4. Scanned copy of TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS;
  5. Scanned copy of CERTIFICATE/S OF TRAINING participated within the last five (5) years relevant to the position applied for (if applicable);
  6. Scanned copy of INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE COMMITMENT REVIEW (IPCR) or its equivalent for the last rating period (for applicants with work experience);
  7. Scanned copy of AFFIDAVIT OF INFORMED CONSENT, WAIVER, AND UNDERTAKING OF COMPLIANCE TO THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENT; and
  8. For SG 24 applicants: Scanned copy of certification from an authorized officer, indicating that they are performing supervisory functions, including the specific period and a number of subordinates.

Here’s a summary of the additional instructions for strict compliance in the PSA recruitment process:

  • Next-in-Rank Principle: PSA follows the Next-in-Rank principle, but if an employee fails to submit an application or waiver form, it is considered a waiver of their privilege.
  • PSA Rights: PSA can suspend or terminate the hiring process, or disqualify applicants for non-compliance with requirements, particularly regarding proper completion of the Personal Data Sheet (PDS), as per Civil Service Commission rules.
  • Document Verification: Applicants must present original documents to the Secretariat before interviews. If the interview is online, instructions will be given for document verification. Failure to present these documents will result in disqualification.
  • Grounds for Exclusion:
    • Inaccurate PDS information that affects qualifications.
    • Missing signatures or notarization on the PDS.
    • Incomplete attachments or missing information in attachments.
  • Interview Process: Pre-qualified applicants will be notified of their interview schedule. The PSA may conduct interviews online or reschedule them with prior notice.
  • Interview Cancellation: Interviews may be postponed due to work suspensions or urgent meetings, and rescheduled with notice.
  • Anti-Nepotism Requirement: Selected applicants must submit a certification against nepotism.
