Philippine Navy hiring, Qualifications and Requirements

The Philippine Navy is hiring. Are you interested to be a part of the Naval Force? The Philippine Navy opens AFPSAT registration for the Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC). Check out the Qualifications and Requirements needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 20 years old and not more than 25 years of age on the date of admission
  • Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen and of good moral character
  • Single and have not sired or bore a child
  • Height of not less than 5’0” (152.4cm) but not more than 6’4” (193.04cm) for both male and female
  • Graduate of 4- or 5-year baccalaureate degree preferably technical courses (see list of preferred courses below)
  • Must not have any pending civil or criminal case
  • Physically and mentally fit for training

  • BS Aircraft Maintenance

Note: For those applicants who already have taken and passed their AFPSAT for NOCC from the different testing sites (Philippine Army, Philippine Airforce, etc.) Please submit the original copy of your AFPSAT result and fill up the IQ application form at the Recruitment and Selection Branch, Navy Personnel Management Center, Naval Station Jose Francisco, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

  6. I tried to apply for navy. Unfortunately I failed the NP exam. They said that there was a question during the interview that they didn’t liked my answer.

    The questions was, “do you have a girlfriend?” – I answered, no!
    A follow up question was asked, “why is that?” – I have no interest in girls, I responded.
    And that’s it! Next thing I know, I didn’t passsed.

    I feel like it was a biased decision, and that there was a discrimination against being part of the LGBT community. I am so disappointed that they treat people differently based on someone’s background. As if your quality doesn’t mean a thing.

    But I guess, it is what it is. Good luck to other applicants
