How to Create Single/One Name on Facebook?

Well, it is easy to change your name to a Single Name on Facebook if you know what you are doing. You just need some VPN set in a certain country and erase your Family name through the FB settings.

First, you need a VPN to set the location in Indonesia. You can buy VPN online; the two most popular one is the Express VPN and Nord VPN. After setting your location to Indonesia you can now login to your Facebook account and go through the process of changing your name to a Single name.

Why Indonesia you say? Indonesians are allowed to have single name because they don’t have a Family Name, the single name is both a first name and the last name.

Remember when you set your location to Indonesia, the language will change to their language as well. You might get confused because you won’t understand a thing. It’s better to memorize the format so everything will be smooth.

Now we will go through the process of changing your name to a single name. Go To Setting and then after that Under Account Setting click the Personal Information and then in Name section erase your Family name and just leave your first name. That’s how simple it is. You can then save it by entering your password and then voila. Your Facebook account now only has your First Name for your privacy reason. After that, you can then logout into your VPN and use your Facebook account with your first name in it
