UPLIFT Group 3: 620,000 SSS Members With ₱10,000 MSC Must Update Disbursement Accounts by October 22, 2026

Updated October 20, 2026. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has identified about 620,000 Social Security System (SSS) members with a ₱10,000 monthly salary credit (MSC) who may qualify for Group 3 of the UPLIFT Assistance. To qualify, they must check the My.SSS app for a notification and update their disbursement account from October 20 to 22, 2026. Members may also get help at the nearest SSS branch.

Who is included in this batch?

According to DSWD, this batch covers 620,000 SSS members with a ₱10,000 MSC who are in the SSS database and are also listed in the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

In general, DSWD has described UPLIFT Group 3 as employed, low-income SSS members with an MSC below ₱20,000 who made at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026 and have an active SSS disbursement account. (Officials have phrased the ceiling slightly differently in past statements, such as “₱20,000 and below,” so rely on your My.SSS notification to know whether you are included.)

How to update your disbursement account

  1. Open the My.SSS app and check for a notification about the UPLIFT Assistance.
  2. Update your disbursement account in My.SSS between October 20 and 22, 2026. Make sure the account is valid and active.
  3. Need help? Coordinate with the SSS branch nearest you.

DSWD has previously stressed that invalid or dormant accounts in the SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) caused unsuccessful crediting for some Group 3 beneficiaries, so double-check your account details.

Deadline

The update window is only three days: October 20 to 22, 2026.

How much is the UPLIFT Group 3 aid?

Under the program’s general terms, qualified Group 3 members receive ₱2,000 a month from July to December 2026, credited directly to their SSS-enrolled disbursement account. The assistance is given per household: if two or more qualified SSS members belong to the same household in CBMS records, only the oldest member receives it.

Note: DSWD’s announcement for this batch of 620,000 members does not state the amount or the release date of their assistance. We will update this article once DSWD or SSS announces them.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to apply for UPLIFT Group 3?

No. DSWD has said beneficiaries are identified in advance from SSS and CBMS data, and UPLIFT does not accept applications. If you are in this batch, you should see a notification in the My.SSS app.

Do I need to go to a payout venue?

No. Group 3 aid goes directly to your SSS-enrolled disbursement account. You only need to visit an SSS branch if you need help updating your account.

I have no notification in My.SSS. Am I qualified?

SSS has said not all members are automatically included; beneficiaries are chosen through data cross-matching among SSS, DSWD and PSA. If you think you qualify, ask at the nearest SSS branch.

How do I avoid UPLIFT scams?

DSWD spokesperson Asst. Secretary Irene Dumlao has warned the public not to give personal information or bank details to suspicious Facebook or text messages promising UPLIFT inclusion. According to DSWD, all official communication goes through the My.SSS app.
