Beginning Monday, July 12 all motorists taking the Skyway 3 Toll will have to pay the necessary rates going to their destination after 7 months of free use. San Miguel Corporation will be charging a toll for the 18-kilometer Skyway 3 starting Monday.
The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has issued the toll operating permit and the notice to start collecting toll. The funds that will be collected are said to be used for efficient operations and maintenance on the skyway.
The good news is that the charge is lower than the originally proposed toll rates. Skyway 3 connects the South Luzon Expressway to the North Luzon Expressway through the Skyway way system.
