Salary Standardization Law (SSL) V aims to increase the salary of government employees including nurses, and public teachers in four tranches. It started on the year 2020 up to 2023. For the third tranche, it will be effective by January 2022. It was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte into law on January 8, 2020
The Salary Grade for 2022 will have the same number of levels from 1 to 33 but the amount equivalent per step is higher than that of the previous year.
