Region V – Bicol minimum wage 2026: current rates

Updated October 10, 2026: The current daily private-sector minimum wage is ₱455 under Wage Order RBV-23, effective April 8, 2026. Rates may vary by sector, establishment size or area classification; see the official regional wage matrix for the applicable rate. Upcoming increase: ₱480 from December 1, 2026; this is not yet effective.

Domestic workers: The minimum monthly wage is ₱6,000 under Wage Order RBV-DW-04. This is a monthly rate, separate from the private-sector daily minimum wage.

The Bicol Region, known as Region 5 in the Philippines, has recently seen a significant adjustment to its minimum wage standards. This change reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring fair compensation for its workforce and is a vital step towards improving living standards for many workers in the region.

Region 5 Minimum Wage Increase

𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝗥𝗕𝗩-𝟮𝟮

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) issued 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝗥𝗕𝗩-𝟮𝟮 which provides a P40 increase for all minimum wage workers in private establishments in Region V (Bicol Region) which will be divided in two tranches. (P20 each increase per tranche).

First Tranche is effective 05 April 2025. This brings the daily minimum wage in the region to Php 415.00.

While the Second Tranche effectivity is on 01 December 2025, making the daily minimum wage to Php 435.00.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) issued 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝗥𝗕𝗩-𝟮𝟭 which provides a P30 increase for all minimum wage workers in private establishments in Region V (Bicol Region) effective December 1, 2023. This brings the daily minimum wage in the region to P395.

Meanwhile, 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝗥𝗕𝗩-𝗗𝗪-𝟬𝟯 grants a monthly increase of P1,000 for domestic workers (𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘺𝘴), increasing the monthly minimum wage rate of domestic workers in the region to P5,000 effective December 1, 2023.
