How to Activate Smart Sim

You bought a new smart sim card? Great! Now let’s activate that so you can use it immediately Here’s the ways on how to do it:

HOW TO ACTIVATE SMART SIM

1. DO A BALANCE INQUIRY

– One way to activate your smart sim is by doing a balance inquiry. To do that,  text ?1515 and send to 214. Take note that this is free of charge. You will receive an SMS about your load balance then it will immediately activate your sim.

2. DIAL *143#

– If the first method doesn’t work for balance inquiry you can dial this instead. To do it, dial *143# and go to Balance/Services > Check Balance. You will receive a text message regarding your load balance and to welcome you to the Smart network.

3. TURN ON YOUR MOBILE DATA

– Insert your sim card to the phone and open your mobile data. In this way, smart will detect that you connected to the mobile network and will activate your new sim card.
