Aside from this, we all know that the most important thing is the pride and joy it brought to the Filipino people because finally, we won the gold medal in the Olympics that we’ve waited for almost a century.
It took her failure upon failure, hard work, perseverance, heart, and desire to win it all. Remember the controversy about the matrix where her name was included as a government destabilizer? The barrage of insults and other intolerable accusations about her is the driving force to prove that she is still on focus about her goal despite all of those controversies.
This is not the time to throw the blame on any political party of any kind but to celebrate the gold medal win for the Filipino people and the whole of the Philippines. Congratulations Hidilyn, we are once again proud to be Filipino.
