CSC Government Online Job Fair set on Sept. 20-24, 2021

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) in partnership with JobStreet Philippines will conduct the Government Online Career Fair (GOCF) on September 20-24, 2021.

There are 2,580 vacancies to be opened 765 are first-level positions (clerical, administrative, trades, crafts), 1,811 are second-level positions (technical, managerial), and 4 are third-level positions. The most number of vacancies are financial positions, followed by medical and health positions, then by general administrative positions.

GOFC is an online event where government agencies and jobseekers meet in a virtual environment to exchange information about job openings for a duration of one week.

Job seekers may apply online to government vacancies through JobStreet.com.ph The event is part of the celebration of the 121st anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service.

How to Apply?

To apply, job seekers must have an account with Jobstreet.

Applicants may easily open an account via JobStreet.com.ph for free. Applicants should also fill out their Personal Data Sheet (PDS) and upload the same on the JobStreet account. Then follow the instructions provided by the system.

To view the participating agencies, job seekers should go to this link https://onlinejobfair.jobstreet.com.ph/, and browse down for the list of job vacancies per agency. Choose the agency and your desired position, read the qualifications and details of the job posting and click “Apply now”.

Once job listings have been accessed and preferred positions are chosen, applicants should submit an application by clicking the “Apply” button located at the bottom page of the agency posting.

The CSC clarified that agencies will conduct the initial assessment and notify the job applicants through email or text message of the status of the application and/or additional instructions or requirements to be complied by the applicant.

Application form qualified interested persons, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), members of indigenous communities, and those from any sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression (SOGIE) are highly encouraged, the CSC said. Being online, the GOCF eliminates physical and geographical barriers to submitting job applications and provides a safe venue for government agencies and applicants to transact during this pandemic.
